The L.A.U.N.C.H. Intensive is a transformative, tuition-free program designed for high school dancers (grades 9-12) seeking to refine their artistry, build confidence, and expand their movement vocabulary. Rooted in the mission of R.E.A.C.H., this week-long experience challenges dancers to step into their power as artists and leaders.

BASELINE EXPECTATIONS:

Pre-Screening Process – Modeled after post-secondary auditions, preparing dancers for future opportunities.
Immersive Training – Daily classes in technique, improvisation, and partnering, with a focus on mental and physical well-being.
Mentorship & Community – Guided by experienced artists, dancers engage in workshops that foster creativity, resilience, and self-expression.
Dress Code – Required attire will be communicated upon acceptance to ensure a unified and professional environment.
Culminating Performance – A public showing that celebrates each dancer’s growth and the collective journey of the intensive.

At the end of the week, dancers will leave L.A.U.N.C.H. feeling seen, empowered, and prepared to step into their next season with renewed confidence, fresh perspectives, and the tools for continued success.

Through partnering, contact improvisation, and group collaboration, they build trust and deepen their connections. As they expand their horizons, students emerge as artists and leaders, prepared to impact their communities and the world.
